SIX15 at the Grand Hotel
615 Second Ave. S., Minneapolis

Inspired by the Spanish tradition of eating 12 grapes on New Year’s Eve for good luck, The SIX15 Room located inside Kimpton’s The Grand Hotel Minneapolis will be offering Chef Kris Koch’s regular dinner menu as well as specials laden with grapes to ring in the new year, including:
  • Mediterranean Grilled Chicken & Grape Skewers
  • Doce Uvas aka 12 Grapes – Green Grapes, Basil, Simple Syrup + Pisco ($12)
The SIX15 Room will be open from 3PM-1AM on December 31; walk-ins are preferred.
Eating 12 grapes at midnight on New Year’s Eve is both a tradition and a superstition in Spain. Rare is the Spaniard who will risk poisoning their fate for the coming year by skipping the grapes, one for each stroke of midnight.

 Happy New Year!
