This week we are highlighting two cats that just recently arrived here from Mexico.
Meet Colita and Mama!
They are both stray cats who were living on the streets in Mexico, but thanks to a grant from Pause 4 Paws, they were able to escape that situation and come to foster homes in Minnesota.
Now, they want to find their forever homes.
First, let’s talk about Colita.
Colita has been dealing with some drama in his life. When he was first found on the street last year, someone had tied is tail into a knot. Can you imagine? Luckily, he was taken to the vet, and rather than having to amputate his tail, the vet was able to untie it.
He was vetted, neutered and vaccinated and placed into a forever home in Mexico. Recently, however, it was discovered that the boyfriend of the homeowner doesn’t like cats, so Colita was given the boot.
Now he is here and ready to find his real forever home. He loves to cuddle, purrs a lot and is a great cat who would be a fantastic addition to any family.
Next is Mama.
Mama is in fact a mama cat who had three kittens, all of whom have been adopted. Now, this one-year-old is ready to find a forever home for herself.
Both cats are very friendly, are good with people, and do well with other cats and dogs.
Please keep either of them in mind if you or anyone you know are looking to add a four-legged friend of the feline persuasion. For more information and to meet Colita and/or Mama, please contact Jill Goldstein.
