Take a look at this five-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier mix and get ready to fall in love!
O Henry is currently in foster care through A Rotta Love Plus (ARLP), and because he is house-broken and well mannered, the thinking is he once was a member of a family. Now, he’s looking forward to finding his new forever home.
He is super sweet and quite uncomplicated, meaning he is not high maintenance. He does, however, love attention and if given the chance, he will finesse his way onto your lap (not an easy task given his 75 pound weight).
Don’t let his weight fool you, however. He may be a bigger dog, but he is a gentle giant with a kind soul.
Having mastered the “art of the drool,” O Henry loves going on a nice walk or a nice car ride with his people…or a walk followed by a car ride. He is incredibly friendly and gets along with everyone. That said, he’d prefer being the only dog in his new home, or if not, having the other dog be as laid back as him.
O Henry is a happy boy who can’t wait for his new family to find him. He hopes that when they do, they’ll shower him with lots of love and attention…and he’ll be sure to reciprocate.
Please keep him in mind if you or someone you know are looking to add a four-legged friend to the family. To learn more about O Henry and to arrange a time to meet him, please contact ARLP.

About Pause 4 Paws
Pause 4 Paws raises funds for 18 animal rescue organizations that have little time to raise money on their own because they are in the trenches doing the difficult work, day and night. The focus of Pause 4 Paws is to help these organizations with their life-saving efforts. The individuals who work for the 18 organizations that Pause 4 Paws financially supports are tireless in their efforts to rescue animals by providing medical care and finding forever homes for dogs and cats in need. In 2012, these 18 organizations rescued over 5,500 dogs and cats, and they vaccinated, spayed and neutered an additional 5,300. That is almost 11,000 animals! For more information, please visit the Pause 4 Paws website.
