Pumpkin Nights is a one-mile long walking path, lined with over 3,000 hand-carved pumpkins creating 12 worlds of incredible art and Halloween fun.
This outdoor, family-friendly Halloween experience is happening at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and appeals to all of the senses with whimsical interactions. Some of what attendees will explore include Pumpkin Galaxy, Witch’s Brew, The Great Pumpkin Reef, a Minnesota-themed world, and more.
In addition to the 12 interactive themed worlds, Pumpkin Nights will have UV bubbles, Halloween music and scents, fall treats and interactive lights along the path. In addition, traveling “Merchants of Fun” will be on the path, selling all sorts of glow-friendly items to light up the night even more.
At the halfway point of the path, you can stop to treat yourself to cider, hot chocolate and seasonal State Fair treats at the vendors’ area. You can also shop for a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and purchase Pumpkin Nights merchandise. It’s a great place to take in what you’ve just experienced and gear up for more surprises and fun!
Pumpkin Nights is partnering with local charities for each of the 18 nights it is open. Participants are encouraged to bring a carved pumpkin to add to the Community Carvings world; for every carved pumpkin brought, Pumpkin Nights will donate $5 to that evening’s highlighted charity.
Pumpkin Nights will be open from Friday, October 14 through Monday, October 31. Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for kids (ages 4 – 12) and seniors. Children 3 and under are free. Family packs are available for $64, which includes two adult tickets and two childrens tickets.
Tickets are available online at www.PumpkinNights.com and are also available at the door. Tickets can be used on any night, and are transferable.
