Snapology Grand Opening

STEAM classes, camps, parties and drop-in creative play in the heart of the city.

On November 17th, Snapology will bring its STEAM-focused classes, camps, parties, workshops, homeschool solutions and preschool programs to its new home on Lyndale Avenue in Uptown. Aaron Hagebak, owner of Snapology of Minneapolis, is excited to open the new “Discovery Center” to provide a drop-in play solution for families in the area, as well as expand on the offerings Snapology has been providing this year throughout the community.

Snapology of Minneapolis has been serving the greater Twin Cities area since the beginning of 2017, conducting classes and camps at public schools like Northrop Urban Environmental, Hale Elementary and Waite Park Community School, as well as private and charter schools like Minnehaha Academy, Groves Academy, Hennepin Elementary and Spero Academy. Snapology has also partnered with community organizations like Twin Cities Pride Festival, Sunrise Banks and CEAP to provide activities at their events, as well as offering pre-school classes at Kiddywampus in Hopkins and Wishing Tree Play Café in White Bear Lake.

Opening Weekend events include music by Jack and Kitty, magic by Alan Smola, food courtesy of A Cupcake Social and North Mallow, a dance party curated by Family Fun Twin Cities, and art projects led by Articulture and Uptown Tattoo. All events are free and open to the public from Friday at 5pm through Sunday at 6pm.
